- Personality disorder comorbidities
- Some neurocognitive disorders (forms of dementia)
Not every condition fits neatly into a specific category, please contact Dr. Tochtrop’s office with questions.
Primary Focus: General Adult Psychiatry (Ages 18 and up)
- For patients under 18, we recommend seeing a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. These specialists complete an additional two years of focused training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and are often Board Certified in this area.
- Elderly patients with complex conditions, such as dementia, are best served by Geriatric Psychiatrists. These specialists undergo advanced training and frequently collaborate with neurologists and psychologists for neuropsychiatric evaluations and comprehensive care.
