Pain Management at Hannibal Regional Medical Group
Do you suffer from chronic pain, which includes arthritis, degenerative disc disease, low back pain, neck pain, headaches, cancer pain, shingles, sympathetic dystrophy, nerve problems, RSD, CRPS, knee pain or leg pain? Chronic pain affects an estimated 100 million American adults.
Pain management is a medical specialty focused on the diagnosis and treatment of pain and related disorders. Medical providers apply interventional techniques to manage various types of pain. Focusing on chronic pain rather than acute pain, these techniques can work independently or in conjunction with other treatment.
The primary goal of pain treatment is to return the patient to optimal function.
