Peaches and Cream

Step 1 Foods



1 can peaches in 100% fruit juice

3 tablespoons cream of wheat




Place ingredients in blender & pulse until smooth. Cook in microwave for 30 seconds, stir & cook for another 3 seconds. Pour into two ice cube trays & allow to cool. Once frozen, store food cubes in freezer bags.


Cinnamon Apple & Raisin Oatmeal
Step 2 Foods


4 apples
½ cup golden raisins
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
12 oz water
½ cup oatmeal cereal


Wash apples, cut in quarters & remove the seeds/stem. Put apple pieces, raisins, cinnamon, & water into a 4-qt pot. Turn the burner on high & cover with a lid. Cook for approximately 7 minutes, stirring once. Add the oatmeal & cook for 1 minute more, stirring throughout the final minute. Pour everything into blender. Puree until smooth. Pour into two ice cube trays & allow to cool. Once frozen, store food cubes in freezer bags.


Brown Rice, Carrots and Broccoli

Step 3 foods




8oz raw baby carrots

1 cup raw broccoli florets

1cup brown rice

2cups water




Place water & carrots in 4-qt pot on medium heat. Place lid on pot & cook for 30-45 minutes until carrots are soft. Use slotted spoon to remove carrots. In same water, add rice & finely diced broccoli florets, cook as directed on rice box. 


Tips- cooking rice &other grains in water leftover from cooking carrots will add a sweet flavor to the rice, plus some added nutrients boiled out from carrots!
